About RMS
Reaseheath Mammal Society was formed in late 2013/early 2014 to bring together the students of Reaseheath College with an interest in mammals with the aim of learning more and gaining mammal survey experience on campus.
Any records generated from surveys will kept on rECOrd, the environmental records centre for Cheshire (as well as the Wirral peninsula, Warrington & Halton) and the data can be made available for student research if necessary. It is not available, however, for the purpose of lethal control of any mammal.
The mammals shown on this site do not represent a comprehensive list of the British mammalian fauna; only mammals that are known to live in Cheshire are listed in the taxonomic navigation menu on the left, though the Cetacea (Whales & Dolphins) and Pinnipedia (Seals) orders are both excluded for obvious reasons.
Information on any British mammals not found on this site can be found on The Mammal Society website.
